Key dimensioning and verification in a shaft hub connection

The spreadsheet verifies the key element in a connection of shaft in hub.

Three sections are reported:

1. It reports a simplified calculation of the key considering the transferring torque moment
   
2. The previous verification is repeated considering other parameters such the ductility of the materials and the relevant participation factors. Then it is calculated the contact pressure and it is verified the key, the shaft and the hub to the related stresses
   
3. It reports a calculation of the approximated mean stresses in the hub section considering the reduced area given by the key housing

One or more keys can be selected.
