Eyebar design

The spreadsheet verifies a forged eyebar to pulling force. 

The verification is performed considering the reference " Specification for Structural Steel Buildings”, American Institute of Steel Construction, Inc. (AISC) 2005.

The following sections are reported with the dimensioning verifications:

• Geometry and material definition 
• Dimensional requirements checks
• Calculation of the available tensile yield strength at the eyebar body 
• Verification to pulling force (ASD)

It is possible to select the metric (S.I.) or the English (U.K.) Unit System. The calculation will be modified as consequence.
